Ingredients:
- 1 packet of Creme Fraiche Starter Culture (as shown above)
- 1 quart of heavy cream (make sure it is not ultra-pasteurized if possible, for the best set)
- A clean glass jar with a lid
- A little bit of patience!
Instructions:
- First, take your heavy cream out of the fridge and let it reach room temperature. This is very important because the culture likes a cozy environment to start working!
- Pour the cream into your clean glass jar. Sprinkle the starter culture over the surface of the cream and let it sit for about 2 minutes to rehydrate.
- Stir it gently with a clean spoon until the powder is fully dissolved.
